Created by Kel, founder of Balance With Kel, this space was designed as a sanctuary for anyone wanting to slow down, reconnect with their body, and find calm in the busyness of life.

Here, gentle movement meets holistic wellbeing. From 10-minute sessions to full 60+ minute practices, each class is an invitation to pause, breathe, and move with awareness — not to achieve perfection, but to nurture presence, strength, and inner balance.

Many who arrive here are carrying something — stress, fatigue, pain, or simply the weight of doing too much for too long. The Balance Nook offers a space to soften, release, and begin to restore from the inside out. Through yoga, somatic movement, breathwork, and meditation, you’ll learn to move with compassion, soothe your nervous system, and reconnect with your own rhythm of ease.

🌸 Meet Kel

Hi, I’m Kel — the heart behind The Balance Nook and Balance With Kel.

I’m a yoga, Pilates, and barre teacher, meditation and breathwork facilitator, root cause therapist, and health coach. But more than anything, I’m a woman who knows what it feels like to be searching for ease, strength, and balance in a body that’s been through a lot.

After living with chronic pain for many years, I discovered how powerful gentle, mindful movement can be — not just for the body, but for the mind and spirit too. Through movement, breath, and stillness, I found a way to reconnect with myself and rebuild from within.

That’s what inspired me to create The Balance Nook: a space where you can move gently, rest deeply, and learn to trust your body again — whether you’re healing from pain, managing stress, or simply feeling burnt out.

Every class and offering is built around one simple truth: balance begins within.

Through The Balance Nook — your home studio — you can continue your journey from anywhere, you can join us live online, with access on-demand classes ranging from 10 minutes to over an hour, along with breathwork and meditation to calm the body and mind.
